Some reports may take a few minutes to run because of the kind and quantity of data being accessed. Reports with complex logic, large datasets, or numerous external dependencies (M1 for example) are naturally more prone to timeouts than simpler reports. In addition, browser tabs compete for resources with other browser activities and background processes.
These kinds of reports will now display a notice that says: This is a Requested Report, the report will run in the background and once completed will be available in the [Reports Inbox] section. The report will be sent via email as well.

Create a label for your report and select the format. Once a Requested Report is created, it will appear under Reports Inbox in the Reports section. Only the user that created the Requested Report will see the report in their Reports Inbox.
Report Inbox is where you will be able to find your Requested Reports. One of the following statuses will be shown in the Status column:
Once the report is available, its status will change to completed and you will see a download icon and a trash icon for each Requested Report. to the name of your file.
